After attending NAMPO 2023 as a visitor, we are proud to announce our successful return to the show as exhibitors in 2024. NAMPO is renowned as the largest agricultural show in sub-Sahara Africa, attracting all the major manufacturers and industry leaders. This year’s event featured key exhibitors such as AGCO, ARGO, John Deere, CNH, Claas, JCB, and Kubota. The show attracted 86,000 visitors over four days and hosted 770 exhibitors, highlighting its significance in the agricultural calendar.
24 marked our first year as exhibitors at NAMPO, where we proudly represented our company at the UK Pavilion, courtesy of the Department for Business and Trade (DBT). We met with John Humphrey, the Trade Commissioner for Africa, who provided further insights and support for our endeavours in the region. While we appreciated the foot traffic to our stand, our strategy primarily focused on actively roaming the show to connect with agricultural machinery dealers. This hands-on approach allowed us to maximise our interactions and gather valuable insights. Our Business Development Manager, Adam Giles, stated “It was a privilege to engage directly with both existing and prospective customers, as well as key figures in the South African agricultural sector. Our participation was greatly facilitated by the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), who provided invaluable support in promoting our business and making our exhibition a reality.”
Our presence at NAMPO 2024 has been a significant milestone for Ibcos, enhancing our visibility and fostering key relationships within the South African agricultural machinery industry. We look forward to leveraging these connections and continuing to expand our footprint in South Africa and beyond. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the DBT for their unwavering support and look forward to participating in future events with even greater enthusiasm and ambition.
