The UK’s premier farm machinery show, LAMMA, saw record-breaking visitor numbers with over 40,000 individuals attending to see a variety of new and existing products and services. What a way to kick start 2024!
The team at Ibcos Computers were among the whopping 600 exhibitors that spanned 14 halls at the NEC in Birmingham between January 17 and 18, 2024. Located next to our sister company, Catalyst Computer Systems, and directly in front of the Kubota stand, we were in a prime position to meet with our industry partners.
LAMMA 2024 served as an excellent networking platform, allowing our teams to connect with customers and promote our new, innovative solutions. Through discussions about our product’s key features, we were able to gather valuable insights and understand customer expectations. The show also provided us the opportunity to meet with dealers who have yet to join the Ibcos Computers family.
Our Sales Director, James Buchanan, said, “The LAMMA 2024 show was the best it has been since pre-COVID, and all exhibition spaces were full. Throughout the two-day show the attendees kept coming, and we were busy from start to finish. I think it could easily be a three-day show in the future as there was so much to see.
The whole agricultural community were there from suppliers, manufacturers, dealers, and farmers alike, all exploring and displaying new technologies in the sector. As a service provider to our dealer network, it was important for us to exhibit at LAMMA to give the opportunity to both customers and prospects to meet us in person, see the latest innovations from our dealer management system and connect with our sales and support teams. This year our marketing team also attended, helping us have an even bigger impact and really make our exhibition space stand out from the crowd. The show is the biggest in the UK for the agriculture industry, attracting international visitors and this year was an exceptionally great experience for us.”
Our Marketing Manager, Alexandra King-Ellison said, “This was the first time I’ve attended the LAMMA show, and the sheer scale of the show was astounding. Throughout the 2 days I was able to cover about 50% of the show, so my only criticism is that I wish the show was longer! Having the ability to meet with so many customers, prospects, and industry partners all in one place was the ideal start to 2024 and we can’t wait to see everyone again in 2025.”
During the show, we took the opportunity to interview key stakeholders to gain a better understanding and shed light on the key challenges facing agricultural dealers in 2024.
