With the new version of the mobile app, engineers can manage parts inventory on the go, attach photos to jobs, and select jobs as favourites for easy access – while taking advantage of a much more intuitive user interface than before.
As for the web portal, back-office employees will be able to view and approve photos against the jobs sent from engineers and manage parts assigned to the job including creating stock take reports. They can also view engineers’ information, such as lunch time, skill level, work hours, and depot.
All of these features come in addition to a host of existing capabilities from Gold Service 1.0, such as removing the need for paper job cards, no longer having to re-key information provided by engineers and enabling invoices to be raised more frequently.
